WE NEED THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS FROM YOU IN ORDER TO RENT A B11A APARTMENT

  • Proof of income
  • A valid personal ID card
  • A guarantee, where necessary

PRIOR TO THE START OF YOUR TENANCY AGREEMENT

  • You will become a member of WGH-Herrenhausen before you receive the signed tenancy agreement for your micro-apartment

It is only possible to rent a B11A apartment as a member of a cooperative as we consider membership to be the basis for cooperative housing. The membership's shares are in line with the rent amount and the apartment size. A single share amounts to EUR 275.00.
Termination of the membership must be made in writing. The membership may be terminated at the end of the current financial year, subject to observing a notice period of 3 months. If a notice of termination is received by WGH-Herrenhausen by 30/09, the member in question will leave the cooperative at the end of the same year. The membership of the cooperative will not terminate automatically when the notice of termination is submitted for the apartment, and may only be terminated if there is no active tenancy agreement in place. If you are under 18 when moving in, a legal guardian or parent will have to sign for you.

HAVE YOU PREVIOUSLY SET UP A RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY?

You will rent the residential unit as the main tenant and, depending on the apartment size, sublet it to other individuals. Should this be the case, you must ask WGH-Herrenhausen in advance to approve such subletting and submit the respectively valid personal ID for the proposed subtenants. The overall costs will not change as a result of multiple occupancy use. If the main tenant issues a notice of termination, the tenancy with the subtenants will also cease and/or the tenancy can be converted into a main tenancy.
